The idea behind the Music Game is simple... Listen to music
that you may not usually try out and hear some stuff you may
have forgotten about.
The game is played over a number of themed rounds. Each
player submits one track per round. Each round is then listened
to by all players who score each song in the round (not their
own though). A result for the round is published, and all
players move onto the next round...
An overall Leaderboard is also published adding all the
totals scored by each player to gain an eventual game
winner.
When submitting songs please ensure that
your song fully encompasses the theme.
Vague references should be frowned
upon by other players and should be marked down. Avoid complex, or 'clever' connections to the theme - Players
may not get it, you will lose points! (There is no right to
appeal in this game!)

Game 32:
See the additional notes on the
Current Game page regards
adding Challenges to song files
DO NOT place each round in a separate folder.
Keep them all together please.
DO NOT use songs we’ve
already had. See the ‘All
Music Games’ list
You should only use an artist once in all your
selections.
There is no limit to the length a song may be,
however, please consider others - their taste may not be
yours, be reasonable about long choices!
‘Editing’ songs for length is allowed, but
some players may not like that it’s been done.
Please try to avoid songs that have lyrics that may offend
others.
Please add the the word 'Warning' or 'Explicit' to
the file name if not
avoided.
Creating mp3s
mp3's may be supplied either direct from your
'collection', ripped from CDs or obtained via the internet
etc. (How you find/get them is your concern!)
It is only a requirement that mp3 file names are labeled as
noted above. Whilst most songs used tend to have a ‘tag’
associated with them it is not a game requirement. If it’s not
got one or it is incorrect, this should not be reflected within
your scores. Not everyone is a computer genius and knows how to
do it, or even what they are!
There is period of around three
weeks for players to decide and assemble tracks to submit
(exact times in emails and on Home Page). Use this time to think
about what you will enter and create the mp3s as above.
The entire game will be sent back to you, zipped, via
WeTransfer or MailBigFile. As soon as you receive the email
saying your file is ready to be downloaded you should act on
it. Files only stay a short time on the servers.
If you are unsure about the sending/receiving method -
